BMCSNJ Rescue Squad
In 2024 the club developed a valuable program for our members, the Rescue Squad. It is comprised of
approximately a dozen club member volunteers who have stepped up to help share their knowledge and
skills to help rescue fellow members’ cars.
We have had many successful sessions over the years helping others with issues both major and minor
to help get their cars back on the road to enjoyment.
Some of the more ambitious projects we have embarked on were replacing floor pans in an MGB,
installing and overdrive gearbox in an MGB and, removing a gearbox from a TR3. Other examples include
diagnosing electrical issues, getting a long dormant Austin Healey back up and running, some brake work
and carb tuning.
If you feel we can be of service to you simply contact Pete Cosmides via the email shown below and start
a conversation. We will determine if we can provide help to you in getting that stalled project back on the
road.
